Leon & Jonah Wedding -- 5 April 2025 -- Details

We'd strongly recommend flying to New York (any of the three area airports: JFK, LGA or EWR (Newark, but close enough)) if you're coming from abroad. 102 Franklin St. (in Manhattan, not in Brooklyn) is well served by the subway. The Canal St. stop on any subway -- red (1; there's also a Franklin St. stop), blue (A, C, E), yellow (N, R, Q, W), green (6) or brown (J, Z) -- stops no more than a 5 or 10 minute walk away. Aunt Nancy, please take Access-a-Ride. Yellow taxis, Uber and Lyft can all get you there easily.

It's a wedding -- the joining of two bonded souls in matrimony. The officiant will be Sheridan James Lunt. 102 Franklin is on the third floor of 102 Franklin St., there's a large elevator and stairs (for the bold). There'll be drinks, dinner and dancing for those who partake. Please arrive promptly at 6.

Leon and Jonah will be wearing suits and ties. The dress code, if you like, is "cocktail attire." Just look gorgeous -- dress fancy.

If you're traveling to New York to celebrate with us, we see that as the greatest gift you could give. Drab though it may seem, money never goes awry, if you'd like to give us a gift.

NYC has about 120,000 hotel rooms so we wouldn't presume to tell you where to stay. Some folks have told us they're staying at the Sheraton TriBeCa.

We'll meet up for a drink on Friday the 4th of April 2025, ~8:30pm at Bailey's Corner Pub at 1607 York Ave. (at 85th St.).

On the day of the wedding, you're at liberty until the evening. There's a matinée of The Marriage of Figaro at the Met that finishes by 4:30. The Ghostbusters firehouse is pretty close to the venue. The Odeon is a nice bistro nearby. Afterwards there are no set plans, and we may be pooped. Nancy Whiskey Pub or the Odeon might be nice for those who want to continue to boogie.

Brunch will be hosted at Congee Village (100 Allen St., about a mile away from 102 Franklin, on the Lower East Side) the morning after the wedding, Sunday the 6th of April 2025, 11:30am (please make sure you let us know you'll be joining us on the Google Form you used to r.s.v.p.).
